Beth Thiel, ASID is Founder and President of Thiel and Thiel. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and the University of North Texas, receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 1983.

Built on the central idea of personalized service, Beth interprets the needs of the client and combines creativity with innovation to deliver design solutions that are thoughtful and unique while remaining committed to project deadlines and budget responsibility.

After developing her skills in the procurement industry from the owner’s perspective, Beth has blended the use of a proprietary data base system specially tailored for the interiors industry and the preferred vendor status of hundreds of manufacturers to give Thiel and Thiel clients the benefit of maximum purchasing power.

Beth is a professional member of ASID and listed as one of the Prominent Women in the Club Industry by Boardroom Magazine in December 2009.

Kurt Thiel, NARCB, is Vice President and Director of Architecture for Thiel and Thiel. He received his Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois in 1977.

Kurt spent one year in Europe studying western architectural history where he developed his skills in architectural design and illustration. As a skilled artist, Kurt uses illustration to communicate the evolution of the design as well as the final vision to the client.

Kurt’s expertise includes the development of detailed programming tools to insure that the design intent is clearly communicated and meticulously implemented.

Focused in the hospitality industry, Kurt has devoted 27 years to the integration of a building’s architectural elements with its interior detailing, translating the design requirements into functionally efficient yet creative architectural solutions.

Beth and Kurt are regular contributors to trade publications and have spoken at
industry conferences.

Thiel and Thiel, Inc. has received numerous awards and commendations for

throughout the United States.
