About the Project

Dominion Country Club asked T&T to reimagine a few key common spaces around the property that were in need of a refresh. The bar and grille had the typical mahogany paneling and green upholstery similar to the tobacco-stained card rooms you remember (always a charmer!), but those days are long gone now. A Hill Country-inspired environment invites members and their guests into a mood-lit experience filled with character, texture, and color that celebrates the sunbleached palette of the Central Texas foothills.

Winner: 2017 Legacy of Design 2nd Place

  • Check out the gigantic steel lamp sitting in the middle of the grille. That piece towers about 15 feet high, highlighting the ornate wood work on the ceiling above.

  • Stacked rock facade highlight a semi-private dining room on the outer perimeter of the dining area, right next to the bar.

  • Entry to the club fitness area, highlighted by a custom steel and rippled glass doors. A wood-look tile flooring keeps the floor looking sharp, despite the hundreds of sneakers and golf spikes that would surely chew up other material.

  • The bar of all bars! Check out the custom metal work behind the stocked bottles and TVs. This is quite the popular spot among members and their guests.
